Behind an intricately carved-stone wall - located at the main entrance and accessed by a series of steps and walkways - is a spacious open-planned living and dining pavilion. With it's simplistically styled interior, the space consists of a large built-in cushioned sitting area and a smart dining setting that seats 10 in comfort - all under a majestic thatched-roof ceiling.

Another eye-catching feature is the polished teakwood floors that merge with detached stone steps that 'float' above a still pond. Each of Palm River's bedroom suites are contained within a single split-levelled and double-storied wing that is directly adjacent to the main living pavilion. The master suite - positioned on the second level - features an enclosing open-planned veranda that looks out over the pool and river, while the lower suites are flanked by a series of cascading lotus ponds.
